Major game releases scheduled for November 2025

November Gaming Lineup Features Blockbuster Releases

November 2025 is shaping up to be a significant month for gaming, with several major titles hitting the market. While Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 dominates the release calendar, there’s actually quite a diverse selection of games coming across various platforms. I think what’s interesting here is the mix of established franchises and new IPs.

The month kicks off with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on November 6th, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. This title builds on the foundation of previous Hyrule Warriors games but offers something different—a canonical story that serves as a prequel to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. It features battles both on the surface and in the Depths, includes Zonai devices, and notably puts Zelda herself in the lead role.

Returning Classics and New Experiences

Lumines Arise arrives on November 11th, marking the first new entry in the music-puzzle series in 14 years. Available on PC, PS5, and PS VR2, it brings 35 new levels, 60 training levels, and daily leaderboards. The game offers a demo on Steam and PS5, which is always helpful for players who want to try before they buy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 releases on November 13th across all major platforms. It continues the Black Ops storyline with a campaign set in 2035, acting as a direct sequel to Black Ops 2. The multiplayer component includes two 20v20 skirmish maps alongside 13 new 6v6 maps and three returning ones.

Where Winds Meet launches on November 14th as a free-to-play action RPG set in 10th-century China. The game features Wuxia-style combat and promises over 150 hours of solo gameplay with four-player co-op. The free-to-play model raises questions about monetization, but the visual presentation looks promising.

VR and Racing Additions

Marvel’s Deadpool VR arrives on November 18th exclusively for Meta Quest headsets. Neil Patrick Harris voices the character in this title that features both ranged and melee combat. The developers seem to be capturing Deadpool’s signature humor and fourth-wall breaking.

Kirby Air Riders releases on November 20th for Nintendo Switch 2, reviving the racing series after more than two decades. The game includes 20 characters and multiple modes including racing, combat, and exploration.

Nostalgic Throwback

Terminator 2D: No Fate closes out the month on November 25th with a 16-bit style game that revisits the classic film. What makes this interesting is the inclusion of multiple endings and “what if” scenarios that let players explore alternate outcomes from the movie. It’s a thoughtful approach to licensed games that many fans have been waiting for.

The variety here is actually quite impressive when you step back and look at it. From massive AAA titles to niche puzzle games and everything in between, there’s something for different types of players. The platform distribution seems balanced too, with releases spread across PC, consoles, and VR. It’s a busy month that might get overshadowed by the Call of Duty release, but these other games deserve attention too.
